Quizduell

First version

Quizduell is a quiz format by Vlesk, where (previously on a weekly basis) they would do quizzes on the quiz page Jetpunk simultaneously (but on their own), and then after each quiz compare their result and check who would get the mopst points per evening.

For that purpose, an Overlay showing the points has been used, which was created with the developed Multicam tool.

Second version

After some time, for one version of the format, the "Duellhandshuh" game mechanic of Brainlag has been extracted into a separate tool to play: Participants would get a category, and after another need to name one item of that category, as long as someone does not have any more item to name (or names a wrong item).

Current version

For another revamp of the format, a completely new quiz system has been developed, which was round-based, where each round offered new game mechanics, new types of questions and different answer mechanisms. Winners of each round would win that round, and whoever won the most rounds would win the evening. The game master for this quiz format also introduced mechanics for tiebreakers as well as different small tweaks, which have been implemented into the system.
