Charity Overlays

For the Pinke Pfote charity streams, besides on 2 onsite events managing the production, tools and overlays for those events have been created.

DonationTracker

As one of the tools, the DonationTracker has been developed, which enables a self-reloading view of donations sent to a specific Betterplace event. So, streamers can easily see the latest donations without the need to refresh pages, and can mark donations already seen / said, to not duplicate things.

Additionally, this tool provides live updates of the donation amount as well as single donations per Websocket.

Also, the list of donations could be filtered by various options, in order to enable easier extraction of goodies for the stream that are enabled by comments in donations with a minimum amount.

Charity Overlay

For PinkePfote, specifically, overlays and alerts for streams have been created (utilizing the DonationTracker as a data source), to show the current donation amount as well as last donation, or a larger overlay that contains more information.

Additionally, for the PinkePfote 4 Stream onsite in October 2024, a fullscreen donation amount website has been created, to show on one of the monitors in the studio.
